One English Brown salt-glazed stoneware body sherd with an attached handle terminal from a mug or tankard. The exterior has mottling with speckles and a brown-tinted salt glaze. The exterior body is coated with a brown iron oxide slip. The interior appears gray in color. Similar sherds from tankards have been found within the same context but they do not mend and may not from the same vessel.
