Stoneware Crucible Body Sherds

Twenty-nine ceramic body sherds from multiple Hessian crucibles of various sizes. The crucibles sherds are likely a crude stoneware or possibly a coarse earthenware. Some fragments have encrusted debris on the interior and many fragments are grayed from use. Some fragments have a coating on their exterior surfaces similar to a glaze but likely a product of manufacturing. More than one vessel is represented.
