Six mending ceramic body and rim sherds from a large Hessian crucible. The crucible is likely a crude stoneware or possibly a coarse earthenware with a gray paste. The crucible is slightly burnt and the interior has faint staining from use. The vessel has a triangular-mouth although the rim is incomplete.
