Approximately a quarter of a Chinese Export porcelain plate with a sloppy blue underglaze painted decoration. Unglazed and undercut footring. Possibly a Nanking-ware from the early 19th century. The central motif is a pavilion landscape with mountains, willow tree, a body of water and partial tea house visible. Rim has a fish roe diaper pattern with a repeating floral and blue trellis band beneath. The central motif is encircled with a blue spearhead diaper variant. The plate is most likely octagonal with a very subtly trimmed rim. Consists of three mended sherds and one sherd that mends but is not mended/glued. This vessel is crossmended between contexts.
