Red Bodied Lead Glazed Roofing Tile Fragment

Two pieces mend and have a rectangular lug for attachment to roof rafters at the unbroken end. Tag from exhibit display reads: "15. Roofing tile made either in The Netherlands of in New Amsterdam/New York in a Dutch style. The lug on the underside is for hanging on a roof rafter. Ca. 1625-1750."
