Painted Tin-Glazed Earthenware Plate

(1600 - 1800)

Fourteen base, body and rim sherds from a yellow-bodied tin-glazed earthenware plate or possibly a soup plate with a thick white tin glaze on both surfaces. The base has a thick rounded footring. The interior is decorated with a bright blue painted stylistic floral with large flowers and smaller dots and leaves. There is a light blue painted line on the exterior. The plate is mended in sections and cross-mends between contexts.
