Five English Brown salt-glazed stoneware body and rim sherds from a mug or tankard. The exterior has thick mottling with exaggerated speckles and a brown salt glaze. Both the interior rim and exterior body are coated with a brown iron oxide slip. The paste is a buff-color. There are at least two bands of cordoning around the base. The tankard consists of five sherds that mend but are not mended. Similar tankards have been found within the same context but they do not mend and are likely not from the same vessel.
