Four mending base, body and rim sherds from a Chinese Export porcelain plate with blue underglaze painted decoration. The central motif is encircled by a blue spearhead diaper pattern. The rim has a repeating butterfly and floral pattern below a worn rim. The plate appears to be subtly trimmed and may possibly be octagonal in shape. The central motif consists of a large stylized tree surrounded by large flowers. The base has an unglazed, undercut footring. This vessel consists of three mended sherds and one sherd that mends but is not mended to the vessel.
