Underglaze Painted Creamware Bowl

(1762 - 1820)

Creamware common-shape bowl with molded vertical thin lines and larger bands underneath a plain rim. The bands are crudely splotched with blotches of light green underneath the glaze. The base has a well formed 18th Century wedge footring. The bowl's rim is 4 1/4 inches in diameter and the height is 2 1/4 inches. Some areas of the vessel are stained from the privy deposit. This vessel consists of 19 mended sherds.
