One small disc-shaped button with a pressed cross-hatched decoration on one surface. The button is composed of an unknown material that was originally identified as mother-of-pearl. However, the button is not delaminating and appears to be made of some composite synthetic material or possibly blonde-colored horn. The button has a large central hole which appears slightly off-center and irregularly-shaped. The hole may have had two holes for a sew-through button but has broken into one hole. The button has an iridescent sheen/color.
