Overglaze Enamel Painted Chinese Porcelain Rim Sherd

(Mid-Eighteenth Century)

One very small rim sherd from a Chinese-export porcelain teacup, saucer or bowl with intricately painted red enamel decoration. The interior is lined with what appears to be fish roe or a fish roe-variant. The exterior has no visible decoration.
