One Chinese Export porcelain plate base/body/rim sherd with a blue underglaze painted decoration. The central motif is encircled by a blue spearhead diaper pattern. The rim has a fish roe diaper pattern below the edge, with a butterfly, fish roe and floral pattern below. The additional decoration on the rim and the central motif cannot be determined due to the size of the sherd. The base has an unglazed, undercut footring. The butterfly motif suggests that the sherd may be a Nanking-ware from the late Eighteenth to early Nineteenth-century.
