Refined Earthenware Base Sherd

Extremely discolored and burnt refined earthenware base sherd. Impressed maker's or potter's mark in the shape of an X or + on the bottom of the base. The sherd is possibly creamware or pearlware, but is difficult to determine due to the burnt and heavily stained coloring.
