Coarse Earthenware Rim Sherd

(17th Century)

One light/buff bodied coarse earthenware rim sherd with a sandy tempur. A yellow lead glaze is present on its remaining surface and has puddled atop the rim, indicating that the vessel was fired upside down. Possibly a variation of a 17th century profile. Likely Dutch in origin.
