Coarse Earthenware Body Sherd

(17th Century)

One light/buff bodied coarse earthenware body sherd with a yellow lead glaze on its interior surface. The exterior has an incised line and traces of a pink slip and yellow glaze. The exterior also is blackened, indicating that this may be part of a cooking vessel. Likely Dutch in origin.
