Heeled pipe bowl marked EVA/NS in cartouche on right side of the bowl. Made in Bristol, England by Isaac Evans, working 1698-1713. He was a good friend of Robert Tippett II and was Master of the Pipemakers' Guild in 1710 (Price and Jackson 1979:np).
