Salt Glazed Gray/Buff Bodied Stoneware Body Sherd

(1720 - 1775)

Gray body stoneware, very little salt glazing in the interior, probably a jug, it has part of a raised, probably sprig molded motif, in addition to blue painting. The raised motif is surrounded by a painted brown ring (possibly misfired purple).
