Red Bodied Earthenware Body Sherd

(1763 - 1815)

From a bulbous vessel, clear lead glaze on both surfaces, wavy bands. This vessel has a round hole (.75 inches in diameter) that is not part of a pouring spout or vent, which is glazed & has a minor projecting lip on the interior. Possibly a bulb vase?
