Lead Glazed Redware Body Sherd

One redware body sherd with a light brown lead glaze on the interior surface. The body is bright, fine-grained, and red/orange in color which darkens to dark gray towards the interior surface. The glaze on the interior is light brown mottled with a darker brown color. The exterior has a matte, brown slip or glaze (or a firing color).
