Three mended body and rim sherds from a London/Grecian-shaped undecorated teacup is made of white granite. The rim measures to 11.5 cm (external) in diameter. The London or Grecian shape was the most popular cup shape used in the U.S. from about 1825 to the 1840s, and given that white granite wares became popular in the U.S. in the 1840s, it is likely that this cup was produced during that decade.
