One very worn but almost complete buff-bodied tin-glazed earthenware lid, possibly from an ointment pot, a small jar, posset pot or another type of small vessel. The exterior is decorated with blue and purple painted botanical decoration, but most of this decoration has worn off. The lid has a finial that has broken off and missing. The rim edges of the lid have broken off.
