Underglaze Painted Chinese Porcelain Body Sherds

Two strange Chinese-export porcelain body sherds from an bulbous or rounded indeterminate vessel type, a jar, cruet or possibly a lid finial. The sherds have blue underglaze painted decoration on the exterior surface in a fern or feather pattern. The interior is dry-bodied/unglazed. The sherds do not mend but are likely from the same vessel.
