WW Smoking Pipe Stem and Bowl Rim

(1661 - 1685)

One mended white ball clay smoking pipe stem, bowl, and rim. The bowl has a plain rim and the interior has heavy black staining from smoking. The edge of the rim is chipped, possibly from ash extraction. The back of the bowl is stamped with the initials "WW." The pipe was likely manufactured in Bristol by pipe maker William Williams around 1661-1685. The pipe consists of two mended/glued fragments.
