Graphite Crucible Rim Sherds

Two heavily burnt rim sherds from a moderately-sized crucible. The crucible sherds are likely made of graphite or possibly a crude stoneware, although the body is so burned it is difficult to determine the composition of the vessel. The sherds are likely from a vessel with a rounded rim, making it quite different than the triangular-mouthed vessels in the same context. The sherds do not mend and are of varying thicknesses, so they may represent more than one vessel.
