Stoneware Crucible Rim Sherds

Forty-three ceramic rim sherds from multiple Hessian crucibles of various sizes. The crucible sherds are likely made of a crude stoneware with a coarse, gray paste. All fragments are lightly burned or stained and were possibly used, although they are not as heavily stained as some of the crucible sherds in the same context. Some sherds may possibly be from unused crucibles. The sherds are likely from vessels with triangular-shaped mouths. A few sherds mend but more than one vessel is represented.
