Stoneware Crucible Rim Sherds

Fifty-nine ceramic rim sherds from multiple Hessian crucibles of various sizes. The crucible is likely made of a crude stoneware with a coarse, gray paste. All fragments have either encrusted debris or heavy staining on their interior surfaces and are from used vessels. The sherds are likely from vessels with triangular-shaped mouths. Some sherds mend but more than one vessel is represented.
