Stoneware Crucible

Two mending ceramic base and body sherds from a stoneware crucible. The crucible is likely made of a crude stoneware with a coarse, buff paste. The crucible has a flat, rounded base. The interior does not have any visible traces of residue and may not have been used. The exterior has a darker colored wash or red-coloring, possibly from manufacturing or firing.
