Stoneware Crucible Base Sherd

One burned ceramic base sherd from a small Hessian crucible. The sherd is likely made of a crude stoneware with a coarse, gray paste. The crucible has a flat, rounded base. The exterior is coated in spots of melted green debris or less likely, glaze. The interior has thick encrusted debris and is heavily stained from use.
