Stoneware Crucible Base Sherd

One ceramic base sherd from a stoneware crucible. The stoneware is very crude, gray-colored and coarse-pasted. The crucible has a flat, rounded base. It appears to be unused on the interior but the exterior does have a reddish wash or coloring which may be the result of firing or manufacturing.
