Two mending base and body sherds from a large stoneware crucible. The crucible is likely a crude stoneware with a coarse gray paste. Both the interior and exterior surfaces are heavily burned. The exterior has a glaze-like substance that is likely the result of heating/use. The interior has thick encrusted debris from use. The vessel likely had a triangular-mouth although only the base and body portions remain.
