Stoneware Crucible Body/Rim Sherds

Two mended body and rim sherds from a ceramic crucible. The crucible is likely a crude stoneware or possibly a coarse earthenware. The sherd is most likely from a triangular-mouthed vessel with a circular base. The fragment is burned and is stained either from deposition or use.
