One base sherd from a thick-bodied Hessian crucible. The crucible is likely a crude stoneware and possibly has a thick coat of green-tinted glaze on the exterior surface or melted damage from manufacturing use. There is some encrusted debris on the interior and the crucible is blackened from use.
