Underglaze Painted Soft Paste Porcelain Base/Body Sherd

One soft paste porcelain, possibly European or American in origin, base and body sherd from a large vessel. The vessel is possibly oval in shape. The body is straight-sided with royal blue underglaze painted solid-color decoration (or possibly decorated with blue colored glaze) on the exterior body. The sides are pierced and appear to be unglazed. Possibly a basket-type pierced decoration. The interior has no visible decoration and appears unglazed. The sherd is too fragmentary to determine the specific function or shape of the vessel.
