Unidentified Copper Alloy Object

One heavy, ornamental piece of cast copper alloy. The object has molded decoration on both sides and has a hole at one end, possibly for hanging or as a means of attachment to another object. The object possibly appears to be shaped like a bird with a floral bough in its talons. The object is heavily corroded, one surface more than the other. One end of the object is missing.
