Underglaze Painted Chinese Porcelain Plate Rim Sherd

(Early 19th Century)

One Chinese Export porcelain plate rim sherd with a sloppy blue underglaze painted decoration. Possibly a Nanking-ware from the early 19th century. The rim has a fish roe diaper pattern. The sherd is most likely a residual from a plate in the neighboring context, but does not mend to vessel.
