Underglaze Painted Pearlware Bowl Body and Rim Sherd

(ca. 1795 - ca. 1815)

One mended pearlware bowl body and rim sherd. The interior surface is decorated with a polychrome underglaze painted design between two brown lines featuring yellow and brown pineapples; blue, orange, and yellow flowers; green leaves; and brown stems. On the exterior surface, a single brown line runs along the rim and blue flowers with green leaves and brown stems decorate the body. This is an example of pearlware design #77. Additional base, body, and rim fragments featuring this design are present. The rim diameter is approximately 23 cm.
