Underglaze Painted Pearlware Teapot Rim and Body Sherd

(ca. 1795 - ca. 1815)

One pearlware hollowware vessel, likely a teapot, consisting of rim and body sherds with a partial handle. The exterior surface of the body is is decorated with an underglaze painted floral design featuring two brown lines around the neck and body, a yellow sun or flower, brown tulips with green leaves, and an orange flower with a yellow center. This is a possible variation of pearlware design #79. The rim diameter is approximately 7 cm.
