Underglaze Painted Pearlware Teapot Rim and Body Sherd

(ca. 1795 - ca. 1815)

One mended pearlware hollowware vessel, likely a teapot, consisting of rim and body sherds. The exterior surface of the body is fluted and there is a yellow underglaze painted band outlined in brown around the neck. This is a possible example of pearlware design #43. Additional base, body, and rim fragments featuring this design are present. May be part of the same vessel as mended sherds 516, 542, 783, and mended rose sherds 542. The base diameter is approximately 9 cm.
