Painted Pearlware Body/Rim Sherd

(1775 - 1830)

One pearlware body and rim sherd from a hollowware vessel such as a small bowl or cruet. May be part of a mustard pot. The exterior surface is decorated with a blue painted underglaze shell edge design below the rim and a thin blue line below the shoulder. There is some discoloration on the glaze and paste, which may be from burning or a privy.
