Refined Earthenware Body Sherd

(1762 - 1830)

One refined earthenware body sherd. May be pearlware or creamware. There is heavy discoloration on the glaze and paste, which may be from burning or a privy. Possibly burned during the Great Fire of 1835 in New York City.
