One pearlware plate or platter rim and body sherd decorated with a scalloped and green underglaze painted Rococo-inspired molded shell edge on the interior surface. There are traces of green glaze on the exterior surface. Mended with sherd 230.13. There is some discoloration on the glaze and paste, which may be from burning or a privy. Possibly burned during the Great Fire of 1835 in New York City.
