One plain, undecorated creamware plate rim sherd, which is mended with rim sherd 230.35. Sherd 230.25 also mends with 230.27 but the two are not joined. The marley width of the plate is 1 1/8 inches and the plate diameter is approximately 10 1/2 inches. There is some discoloration on the glaze and paste, which may be from burning or a privy. Possibly burned during the Great Fire of 1835 in New York City.
