Gilded English Hard Paste Porcelain Teacup Rim Sherd

One English hard paste porcelain teacup rim sherd with an everted lip. There is a 1/4 inch band of gilding around the interior rim. On the exterior surface, there is a thin line of gilding about 1/4 inch below the rim. The gilding is hand painted over the glaze. This object may be part of a matching cup and saucer set with rim sherd 210.5.
