One whiteware rim sherd with a dark blue transfer printed decoration on the interior and exterior surfaces. The rim has a scalloped edge. Discolored/burned on both surfaces. Likely burned during the Great Fire of 1835 in New York City. Part of a cup or bowl with a rim diameter of approximately 3-5 inches.
