Shell Edge Pearlware Plate Rim and Body Sherd

One plate rim and body sherd decorated decorated with a scalloped and Rococo-inspired molded shell edge on the interior surface. Likely pearlware, but difficult to tell as the plate is very burnt. May be associated with the Great Fire of 1835 in New York City.
