Painted Tin-Glazed Earthenware Tile Sherd

Tin glazed refined earthenware (delft) tile sherd 246.2 is mended with sherds 246.3 and 246.4. It is a thick buff bodied fragment with fairly coarse temper and some red specks. The face is coated with a white tin glaze and decorated with an indeterminate painted design in cobalt (blue).
