This context (Catalog# 185, Lot 11, Test Cut H, Stratum 12, Level a) consists of a tan sand and a mixed gray sand, located beneath the landfill strata located in Test Cut H on Lot 11. It is possible that this deposit represents landfill, but it is also likely that the deposit is from the naturally occurring river bottom deposit, similar to the red sand excavated below it. If landfill, this deposit had a much lower density of coral, which was present in the other landfill deposits in Test Cut H.

Collection method
This level was excavated using trowels. All soil was dry-screened through 1/4 inch mesh.
