A ball clay pipe stem and bowl with "Peter Dorni" embossed stem manufactured in the Netherlands by the Prince Company. Probably made by Johannes Van Zutphen (1850-67) or Pieter Goedewaager (1867-1945) of Gouda. Dorni is a 19th-century reference to "Peter Dorn" a well known member of an 18th-century piper-making family.
