One smoking pipe stem decorated with two, four-in-diamond lozenge-shaped cartouches of fleur-de-lis bisected by lines of rouletting. Fleur-de-lis pipes were popular in New Amsterdam/York in the 17th century. Examples have been found in key archaeological excavations in Manhattan, including the 7 Hanover Square, Stadt Huys, and Broad Financial Center projects.
