Nine flow blue transfer printed whiteware body sherds from a flatware vessel. A maker's mark on the reverse of one sherd shows Davenport's name poised above the very faint outline of their signature anchor. This vessel features a mark designating it part of the "Amoy" pattern, likely created by Davenport of Longport, Staffordshire between 1828 and 1887. The central decoration shows a Chinoiserie design featuring two women seated beneath a parasol. Iron deposits acquired while in the ground are present on the sherds' edges.
